About the workshop

Enjoy Coogee Beach, at sunset! It's a magic time of the day. 
There are so many amazing photos to make at the beach around Sunset. All you will need is a handful of specialised techniques, which we will teach you during this inspiring PhotoWalk. Playing with Time is a fun and adventurous way to learn creative photography from one of Sydney's best phone photographers Colin Seton. Best of all, anyone can join the workshop, there is no experience required! 

You will explore and photograph

• surf,
• water,
• rocks,
• architecture, and
• beach life 

The unique thing about this structured workshop is learning about time-related shooting techniques such as

• time-lapse
• slow motion
• Long exposures

This workshop will include a session on the Phones video feature. 

Basic Overview

• We begin with a session on the essentials of Creative Photography
• Teach you specific ways to handle your phone to get unique perspectives
• You will learn lots of cool creative framing techniques used by the pros
• Work with our favourite apps to enhance your photos in a wildly unique way

What you will need

• A smartphone
• A phone tripod and a phone mount (we can provide this if requested)
• A basic level of fitness as we will be walking during this workshop
• A water bottle
