Community Programs

WeAreObservers is a Photography Community founded in 2017 and based in Sydney, Australia. We design and deliver engaging and mindful photography programs, workshops, and creative activations.

Our events are intentionally hands-on and welcoming, combining structured learning with an enjoyable social atmosphere. Participants are guided through practical techniques and creative ideas that encourage curiosity, conversation, and confidence with their cameras. Programs can be tailored for photographers of all experience levels, using traditional cameras, smartphones, or a hybrid of both.

WeAreObservers programs can be adapted for festivals, community programs, cultural events, and place-based activations. If you are an event organiser, community programmer, or council representative interested in bringing a photography experience to your audience, we’d be thrilled to explore how we can collaborate.
