Our Workshops

  • Nick Williamson - Sydney (PhotoWorkshops)

Shane brings great creativity and knowledge from many years of industry experience and he has a gift for helping his students refine their techniques, resulting in instant improvements in their images. He gives just the right amount of guidance and feedback. I highly recommend his workshops and field trips.

  • David Marston - Sydney (Light Painting PhotoWorkshops)

There is a team of extremely hugely talented people at We Are Observers. That’s good and it’s great to be associated with professionals. However, the secret of their success is their passion and technical skills for all types of photography from video, film, DSL and some amazing work with camera phones. This, combines with the ability to pass on this knowledge in a way all levels of experienced people can understand, is phenomenal.

  • Nicolette Boaz - Whale Photography Adventure

Bucket list desire: to see a whale up close. Tick. Now I want a ‘spy hop’ where the whale surfaces vertically and eyeballs you… Thanks to Shane Rozario and We Are Observers Photography Tours. #weareobservers

  • Neil Glick - Sydney (Phone PhotoWorkshops)

Did both the ‘Phone photography for beginners’ and ‘Phone apps for photographers’ workshops with Colin Seton yesterday. Wowee; I’ve never begun to appreciate what photos a mobile phone (even my iPhone 6) is capable of taking because of its size and shape, the power of even $5 (not a typo) clip-on lenses, powerful ‘in phone’ photo editing with apps like the free!! Adobe Lightroom CC, and more and more. Oh, and yes, Colin gave me lot of tips about how to be a better Observer. Ask him about ‘circles and squares’.

  • Tas Obrien

Thanks for all your help. I appreciate you showing me how to do it and not just presenting me with the info and reading it to me. I learnt a lot.
